Gonna dress you up in my love!
I have spent a lovely eveing with Blessed watching the Oprah 20 year special DVD, Makeover Madness special.
Wow, what a blast, some amazing transformations.
It got Blessed and I discussing the issue of the makeover and its power. Who hasn't wished for the fashion and confidence fairy to come and bestow them with a wardrobe of new, flattering looks to drag them out of their style rut.
It seemed after watching makeover afetr makeover that some people were stuck in the era when they thought life was best, held hostage by scrunchies and peplum waisted jackets. I myself have been chained to black thinking that it was flattering but actually at times looking like an ethnic widow.
Push yourself further and try on some new costumes, a new suit of armour and try to remain open to being a better version of what you used to be.
Clothes are important, wear only what makes you feel great, fabulous even at times. If it ain't making you feel good then bin it, hand it onto someone else or even the opshop. You never know, it may be just the piece some one has been waiting for. Their own makeover madness.
