Vastu Shastra you say?

I just created an amazing abundance altar from my new Vastu Shatra book.
Lovely high level altar creation. Made me work for the beauty though. The final result is amazing and incredibly divine and special.
Vastu Shasta is the ancient sacred science from India that Feng Shui is based upon. Its is simpler then Feng Shui and maybe a little more organic, which is right for me. It is also based on Astrology, which is another reason I love it.

Am gonna ring Blessed now to discuss with her an altar for her future!

Time to heal perhaps

The Full moon coming up on the 4th of March is in Virgo, so I suggest a healing altar since Virgo is all about the body. What do you put on a healing altar though? Depends where your body issues lie. Maybe your unused gym membership could be a start.
A white image candle and a back image candle to suggest letting the negativity go and embrace the light.
Is there something you wanted to do around honouring yourself and your body? The Mind, Body and Soul.

Perhaps the healing is not for you. Is there someone in your life who could do with a little healing right now? What about the picture of the Earth? That could do with a little healing dust at the moment.
I plan to place a picture of Australia on my altar to encourage rain to our country which is becoming withered and intolerant in every area, physically and emotionally. I will also place a picture of my beloved Scorp Sis who has a meeting with her oncologist next week and I will ask for a clean slate. For myself I will put on my unused gym membership on there to remind me that I can if I want and will feel better if I do.

I would place some fresh flowers on the altar and consider printing of an image of White Tara- Goddess of compassion, strength and longevity or Sitala Ma- the Goddess of Health and Wellness.
Just hearing the name of The Medicine Buddha can bring amazing results apparently or call upon Sequanna, the Celtic Queen fo Healing in the Heart and Home.
So many options, but it is your altar to do what you wish with.

Have a great Moon-day.

Manifestation Station

Yes, promised it so here it is.

An altar dedicated to lifes' blessings is a powerful tool. It allows us to open ourselves to new and prosperous opportunities and move away from limitations.
The altar should be a "manifestation station" to thank for what we have and draw what we need in life. The more thankful you are, the higher you vibrate and attract abundance into your life.

So what to do?

You need a nice box or container.

Lay down some orange or yellow cloth, even brown, something earthy is good.
Place your box on the cloth on the altar.
Also put there an orange and green candle.

Make a up an incense of
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- orange rind
- star anise
- orange oil
-f rankincense and mix with a mortar and pestle.

Light the candles and burn the incense over charcoal.[ Save a little for later]

Write in black ink a list of what you wish for for prosperity and then on another piece of paper in orange ink write all the things you are prepared to do and let go of in order to achieve the prosperity.
Fold the papers and put both into the box with the remaining prosperity incense, a few silver and gold coins and a piece of jade. Keep the box on your altar and when you start to recieve gifts write them down on a piece of paper and pop into the box or place them onto the altar to honour and sustain the flow of abundant energy into your life.

You will begin to see a marked difference in all that comes to you big and small, it really is remarkable.

Moon is in Aquarius and aligns with Neptune, so expect " satori" moments, intuition and deja vu. Lovely!
I had crazy reams about the Sibyls last night, started with astral traveling to Paris and filled with symbols and syncrodestiny. Whack attack!

Power Increase

I have just finished weaving magic for a power increase spell that I started on the new moon earlier this week. I had to light the candles everyday for 7 days, I tell ya, I have not been as committed as I usually am and I have forgotten a few times. Not like me, maybe this spell does not resonate with me as much as it usually does. Maybe the Power Increase is not for me? I have finished it tonight anyway so I will await to see if I can lift small cars, drag trains or divine the Idol winner for this evening.
After this spell burns down I am making an altar for abundance. I have a some goals I need to meet overt the next few months and I think a little worship to the Goddess of Coin would not go astray. I have a new altars book, so I will read up and advise. Abundance and prosperity before the Yuletide comes can only be a good thing!

Thankyou Jesus

This is Jesus. He sits in my office and when I am on the accounts machine he holds the jewelery for the Goddess Bookkeeper and myself so we type without getting caught on the keyboard.
I like him, he is helpful and funny, when we need a laugh we wind him up and he wanders around on wheels. He is 'wheely' inspirational.
This is him holding my new bracelets. They have Egyptian charms and Lapis stones on them , I like it, it makes a nice noise, jangly, very gypsy. It matches a lovely charm that Blessed gave me for my birthday that is the Egyptian Om symbol in silver set into lapis stone.
I jingled and jangled all weekend, amusing myself and probably annoying everyone else!

Lapis is the stone of friendship and truth, its also balances the throat and brow chakra , it reveals hidden truths and increases self awareness.
Interesting choice, I bought it on Saturday when I became distracted on my desk hunting. It leaped out at me and I didn't think twice about purchasing it, I knew it was Meant at a deeper level.

Good thing I was protected as the lovely planet Jupiter bought a friend back into my life from 2 years ago with whom I parted on somewhat difficult terms on his behalf, not necessarily mine. Lapis brings harmony to relationship and allows the wearer to be authentic and openly state their opinion. Lots of fabulous information here for those interested. Interesting evening, maybe not a perfect time to see someone in a dark moon but a few laughs anyway.

I am off to buy candles now, New Moon comes in at 9.16am on Tuesday, so I will be casting tomorrow morning, a power ritual. All candles. These have to be set up on the altar in a very specific way, with candles to represent you, the day of the week, your astral sign, gold ones and altar candles in white. This is all from a new book here.

Wishes and Planning

Yes, I have reviewed the plan and make notes on what went well and what didn't. I achieved all the financial goals but none of the internal goals except some new software, but it is a big piece of software that will help the business, so all in all, I think we did ok.
I understand now that the plan should have been more focussed and segmented to particular goals. I threw some big things in there that in hindsight was never going to happen!
I feel quite confident about making the next plan, excited almost.
It is a new moon in Scorpio this coming Monday, and Mercury will go direct on the 18th, so I am confident that the skies will support the planning and the intention. New Moon in Scorpio is an excellent time to do a ritual around personal power and growth. There is an extra boost if your Sun, Moon or rising sign is in Scorpio.
Scorpio rules the 8th House, which is the house of rebirth and regeneration, thus Scorpio rules the sexual organs. So, Scorpio is very focussed on creation and so this is a fantastic time to manifest things or let go of them. Keep them positive though, don't let the Pluto energy come and make your feel all crappy!
There has never been a better time to do a ritual than in this powerful New Moon, the ritual will ground your intention but ask yourself if you are ready and make room for it in your life.
So write down your wishes, make some space on your altar for them and do something, anything to show the Universe you are ready!

Spring Equinox

I found myself invigorated enough to play in the garden. All I did was sweep, clean up and water sad plants from recent heat wave but that was enough to make me feel positivley Ceres like.
I also made a little outdoor altar with candles, shells and a divine orchid to honour the Springs imminent arrival.
The new bright green leaves are on the fig tree and the blossoms are out next door, it is a beautiful time on the garden and I was happy to spend a few hours out there today.

The changelings went to the park and came back with 3 Sudanese children newly arrived to Australia, whilst language was a tiny barrier at the beginning the universal speech of scooter and giggling from the girls at the boys proved to be binding. I think we should start our own peace movement - Scooters without Borders, an instant success I am sure.

I am on the lookout for an Owl pendant at the moment, I have seen 3 but they are far too fashionable, I want something more antique and special, I will know when I see it I am sure but if you see anything let me know.

Had a lovely visit with Witch Tracy at the Spell shop, she mixed me a high vibration incense for tonights banishing spell, but first a visit to the colourist to banish the greys, magic or not, a girl still gotta look good!

Altars 101

I recently bought a divine little 1920's bamboo table, covered in a lush beaded cloth and hey presto -I have myself an altar. Altars have been used forever and they are a personal space in which to give thanks, connect to the Source and create positive energy and magic to those around you, your archetypes, your guides, your loved ones who have passed over and those who travel with you in this lifetime. I read a lovely tip that suggests that you change your alter with the new moon, it should reflect the changing state of your life and encourages you to pay attention to your inner life as strengthen your connection to your inner self and the non-local.
I don't pray at it, but some people do, which is terrific for them. You can meditate at it, you can offer gratitude and send blessings.
Some people use their mantle piece as an altar or an table, a dressing table, it doesn't matter really.
An altar is not just a place for religious artifacts, like Buddha or Jesus, it can house any archetypes that you honor. I probably would put a picture of Oprah on there and then others days a photo of the changleings and Gandalf or some of my divine women friends might make it on there, it is whatever and whoever is important to you.
Photos of loved ones, pets, archetypes, fresh flowers, shiny things, affirmations, shells, coins leaves, crystals, candles, anything that takes your fancy that month. I knew someone who realised she was drinking to much so she put a bottle of beer on her altar that meant that she began to notice how she was worshipping alcohol which stopped her behavior immediately. You can build an altar inside, outside and even on your desk at work. I am going to take a few flowers in today to set one up at work.
You can theme them, is it an prosperity altar, a fertility altar, a relationship altar, a healing altar? Remeber to dust regulary, change with the new moon and go with your intuition as to what you need on your altar. Here is link to inspire you to think about some of the gods and goddesss you may like on your altar.
Have fun with it, its not going to hurt anyone and will get you in touch with your creative self.
I am off to go and play with my desk and move it all around, the Goddess Bookeeper is in today, so I will be vibrating on that extra special level.

Back to the drawing board

So I have created a space for letting go. I have lit the oil burner, said some affirmations, acknowledged my emotions and have decided to just get on with it it! Sidestep and take action is the mantra for the rest of the week. I did have a look at my long range forecast that I ordered earlier this year and had forgotten about. It did let me know that Mars was square Mercury yesterday which would account for the drama. So I did have fair warning, I just didn't pay attention. I apologise universe.

So what the vibe today swingers?
I shan't go on about the whole 6/6/06 thing. Yawn. Time is a man made illusion and it is very local field, so frankly, it bores me.
The Moon is in Libra, which makes us want to take action but in what direction?
Thats entirely up to you!

I am going to throw some Tarot tonight and see what flies in the non local fields!
