I see abundance

Housework done, breakfast in changelings tummies, tracksuits donned and we are off.
The school holidays are upon us and I am required to think of things to do with the children that requires little or no money and expends energy.
Today was a walk or a scoot in their case. We walked and scootered to my favorite shop for a wander and a coffee.

Taking our time, I saw abundance everywhere. Fat dahlias staked in the garden, bees buzzing around wall flowers. A ginger cat on a blue stone wall with a silver birch for shade looking down in disdain as the children flashed by in a blur of noise and colour.
I pottered in the shop and looked at everything whilst I chatted with the gorgeous Qi who is the owner and ultimate Piscean.

On the way back the sun shone and the wind was refreshing and people smiled when we passed them in the street. Our arrival home was met with Gandalf who had crept away from work to bring us all lunch.
Moments of abundance and joy, reminding me that life just gets better and better when your take the time to look.

Change of pace and space

A divine weekend spent in Sydney with old friends and newer ones who fed and watered us in between our "touristic" jaunts around the stunning city. It was lovely to let go of controlling the space and pace in our normal lives back home and just be and see.

I did a massive brain dump of all that was on my mind in the hotel room yesterday after a successful shopping trip. When I reread it today it seemed all very do-able and achievable, bless the brain dump, it does work and ease the pressure on the grey matter.

I am soon to finish this blog, in 5 days exactly so I have been journaling my biggest learnings for the last 12 months. I plan to not blog everyday after then but only when I come across some information or thoughts that will make a difference to your day, less about my journey and more tidbits to share and to brighten your day.

A big New Moon week with the focus on responsibilty when the New Moon starts in Capricorn. It is time to ask yourself, are you ready to take on FULL responsibility for your own life - your financial independence, your work, your relationships, your happiness?
There is no better time to set financial goals this week or get a better job, anything that gives you choices and independence.

Here is an exercise to try:

1] Write down you list of what you want to create this year for yourself.
Now look at it again and ask for something that is even better than that which you asked for, go for broke on the goal setting!

2] How much intention are you prepared to put towards achieving this? Out of 10? Think about it then answer again.

3] Now think about what you want to manifest this year and ask yourself what you think this will give you in terms of quality of life. [Less stress, hope, love, peace etc]

4] Go back to No 2 and think about how much intention you are prepared to give and see if it is enough for the quality you are trying to bring to your life.

5] Is there anything or anyone in your life that gives you that quality right now?

Getting clarity on what you want will help you recognize it when you it manifests in your life.

Yesterday as I wandered around the Goddess exhibition and I was so darned glad I was there. It was something I had wanted to do for months and sometimes I let those wants slip by because I think there is some thing more important in life but I got myself and my family off our lazy butts and it was even better than I had imagined. It reinforced and educated, thrilled and affected. Making the effort to 'do' pays off better than you can imagine sometimes.

Manifestation Station

Yes, promised it so here it is.

An altar dedicated to lifes' blessings is a powerful tool. It allows us to open ourselves to new and prosperous opportunities and move away from limitations.
The altar should be a "manifestation station" to thank for what we have and draw what we need in life. The more thankful you are, the higher you vibrate and attract abundance into your life.

So what to do?

You need a nice box or container.

Lay down some orange or yellow cloth, even brown, something earthy is good.
Place your box on the cloth on the altar.
Also put there an orange and green candle.

Make a up an incense of
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- orange rind
- star anise
- orange oil
-f rankincense and mix with a mortar and pestle.

Light the candles and burn the incense over charcoal.[ Save a little for later]

Write in black ink a list of what you wish for for prosperity and then on another piece of paper in orange ink write all the things you are prepared to do and let go of in order to achieve the prosperity.
Fold the papers and put both into the box with the remaining prosperity incense, a few silver and gold coins and a piece of jade. Keep the box on your altar and when you start to recieve gifts write them down on a piece of paper and pop into the box or place them onto the altar to honour and sustain the flow of abundant energy into your life.

You will begin to see a marked difference in all that comes to you big and small, it really is remarkable.

Moon is in Aquarius and aligns with Neptune, so expect " satori" moments, intuition and deja vu. Lovely!
I had crazy reams about the Sibyls last night, started with astral traveling to Paris and filled with symbols and syncrodestiny. Whack attack!

Mercredi

Wednesday is guided by Mercury. Mercury is retrograde at the moment so where does that leave us this Wednesday? An unguided day with a Virgo Moon. Lord help us!
I am already am feeling it, waking to find the bank has lost a large amount of money, Gandalf is sick with a cold as he is trying to think about too much and has a clouded brain and I have a day with the goddess bookkeeper with nothing for her to honor the bills with.
I did have a fabulous dinner last nitgh with the Princess, The Contessa and The Doctor. Much hilarity and philsophising over a divine meal and wine.
Yesterdays' shopping was like I thought it would be with the Virgo Moon influence. We bought little but well, astonished by the Shop Sharon's whose lack of service was both astounding and amusing. My favorite one was the girl at Genki who spent 10 minutes on the phone discussing loudly the new girl 'Caitlyn' who had taken over her shifts and what a bitch the owner or manager of the store is, all whilst picking her nose. A close second was the girl who asked me if I thought she looked bloated? This in a different store. Too funny!

Off to work with the affirmations in my head, "I am the source of my own abundance".

Moving forward

Margaret Whitlam has a phrase that she uses in her life when things get tough or embarrassing. For example, when she emerged from the car with Gough for a VIP event and her skirt fell down in front of the waiting media, she merely said, "Onwards".
I like her style, don't hold onto it, move onwards and let go as ASAP. Nobody cares, in fact Margaret did some good with her skirt around her ankles, its happens to everyone, no one is immune to life with its riches of wonder and shame.

I learnt today that a friend of mine has not only sold his gorgeous house but also the entire contents. The new owners liked everything so much they begged to buy every couch, bookshelf and table, rug and so on. So my friend and his wife only took with them special things and a sense of freedom [and a large amount of money!].When he told me today I screamed with laughter, he constantly keeps going up a level in every area of his life, because he and his wife say "yes" to every opportunity. He doesn't hang on to anything obviously, not physical nor emotional, he keeps allowing himself to be open to the abundance and the crazy stuff that life throws at you when you say "yes".
As he said, What does he care about a couch or a rug? Nothing! Start again, its funny and its fun! Good on him I say and ONWARDS!

A thumbs up from the Goddess

All in all an ok day. Found some unexpected money which was nice, which is winging its way to us, made a new business meeting from the first call of the day, bingo! Quoted on 3 new jobs, had a terrific staff review and had a great meeting about our new website design.
Maybe the Sutras are working, I was certainly mindful of it all day and I was the living embodiment of bliss and love when I warmly thanked the deli girl at Coles for my smallgoods.
I didn't mind when she handed me my 300 grams of Virginia Ham and she didn't meet my gaze, I sent her love and wished her well behind the counter and then got to the checkout and with 3 little changelings with me[Scorp Daughter has a friend over to play Bratz with] the sexy man with a motorcyle magazine in his basket asked me to go ahead of him! Wow! Lovely stuff.
Do I think its connected?
Hell, yes!

The Beauty of Knowing

I have had a pile of bills, papers and unopened mail on my study desk for the last few weeks, illness and then a bad case of apathy is to blame for them being ignored for so long.
No judgement, no praise, just the way it has been.

I decided to get on top of it last night and sort, collate, file and move the money around the bank accounts to make do till pay day. Whilst I am not as flush as I would like at the moment, I have experienced more significant financial challenges, so at the end of the sorting session I felt much better. The importance of knowing your financial position, however dire, is the key to moving forward, make yourself become aware, don't judge it and then see what small changes you can make.

I have been reading about 'Money Fears' and how you need to change them on the Money Club.

One of the first things you need to do is write down a list of your money fears, When you see them on paper they will seem improbable and even silly. The ones that could happen, get a plan together to make sure you know what to do if something unexpected happen. I heard a parenting/family expert discussing the breakdown of familes on the radio yesterday and she said the number one factor was no planning for disasters such as job loss, death, accidents.

Another one is to write down you money messages you have received from your parents, was it good or bad? Did you receive a financial education? If not, then you need to educate yourself now as an adult about money and budgeting and planning for the future. Reparenting is always a winner, speak to someone who is good with money and ask for their help.

Do you have a money secret that keeps you awake at night? Tell someone close to you, its amazing how much smaller it seems and they might be able to help you!

Keep a copy of your receipts and see where you spend you cash, scary huh? But good!

Wednesday

Finally slept after taking a sleeping tablet courtesy of the Brave Lioness, friend and now, drug dealer.
I did a major spell casting last night around wishes for myself and those nearest and dearest.
A lovely evening for intention and I swear I could feel the energy swirling around me. Whatever it is, it works and I know that to be true now.
I received my Creating Money book last night as recommended by Fish Girl. I am so looking forward to reading it, will start this Friday night while Gandalf goes to his Gladiator match.
Speaking of Gandalf, this morning we discussed the eternal struggle at work this year, 2 steps forward, one step back, it hard to get fired up about work sometimes, I need to wrap my thinking gear around this one and move onto another level of consciousness about letting go of needing to feel the struggle to feel alive.

I am starting to see the light at the end of July. It has been an incredibly difficult month with death, insomnia, heartbreak and taxes all due.
The most incredible part is that I survived surprisingly intact. I know I still have 7 days left but we are in a balsamic moon phase and I have let go of so much this month that no longer serves me that I feel the worst is over, I trust the worst is over. I feel that things are going to be better, I know they will be better.
My health and loved ones have been top of mind in July and I have been able to serve both in wonderful, life changing ways.
The biggest things this month for me has been to let go when things do not happen the way I would like them to. A quote from Rumi says it best, "Some things that don't happen keep disasters from happening."
I have had to trust in the Universe looking after me and making it better than I could have ever imagined. I look forward to seeing what great things will happen this next 7 days.
Interesting then that this month I have had the worst insomnia I have ever experienced. In the last 72 hours I have had 11 hours sleep. I feel like shit but happy in my haze, its almost like I have had an accelerated learning phase as I have thought about so much in the night kitchen.
I read that "Everything that happens in your life is moving your forward in the directions of your goals." Find the good in the bad, know that you will always be taken care of and Trust.

Planning from Within

How can you sell anything if you do not believe its benefits or message deep within your soul?
Whether it is your product or service or someone's else's product and service then you will do so much better if you would bet the farm on it.
I have been thinking about this as I have to sell not only my company's services but also other companies products and services.
It is not enough to create a nice design and clever words, the intention that is within the creation is the key. I ask my staff, "Do you believe it?" I like it when the answer is no, "think, think" we say and look at the project again.

Its Laws of Attraction 101.

Creating the right clients to your business and in my case my clients business's is a matter of thinking about who they are before you start to work for them.
Who are you attracted to and who is attracted to you?
What is your love/interest/ passion?
Write down your perfect day with your perfect set of clients, imagine your diary/schedule filled. Imagine the amount of money in the bank that you need, be careful what you wish for though.
I asked for a certain client last year, I asked and I received but I was not specific enough and I then found the client became inactive as I did not specify the relationship as fruitful and abundant and busy. I just asked to be on their preferred supplier list. I got this and sat there for 12 months with no work! I went back in May and rewrote this with Domonique the Wonderful and I now have 3 major jobs with them in the studio, live and learn!

It's waning, its pouring!

it is a waning powerful moon this week, so DO NOT START anything new, plus with Mercury Retrograde we are really feeling it in the communication sector.
I am so obsessed by the moon now I have diarised the New and Full and the sign they are in in my diary.
If I have a choice I will always choose a waxing to full period for anything that requires contract signing, paperwork and full on meetings. In fact I think I will cancel all unnecessary appointments in a waning period from now on.
The best things to do during a waning moon is a clear out, get rid of things. I just did a drop to my favourite opshop in Chapel Street, Sacred Heart Mission, their windows are always so witty and make you feel good! In spell working this is the best time to get rid of hexes, poverty, bad luck and general curses. But how do we know if there is a curse on us?
An extraordinary run of bad luck, money problems, feeling negative energy around you. Lift the curse and into the light!

Money, Money, Money

Money. If money is an energy then think about the past week and any thoughts you have had about money, were the thoughts positive or negative?
I read this and I cast my mind back to the past week and any thoughts I had about money. I can't remember, I don't recall anything in particular that was negative but nor do I recall anything overwhelming positive either.
So here I am on a Wednesday afternoon with the Goddess Bookkeeper, staring at a balance sheet wondering where the money will come from to calm the storms that are threatening off shore.
"Wherever it is right now" answers the voice in my head with a bad Indian accent.
Makes me think some more, no I didn't think about money much since last Wednesday, what I should say is I didn't worry about money in the last week, but I also didn't do anything to attract it either.
So back to affirmation land for me.

• Money is winging its way to me so I can honor my debts.

News from the Crib

At home with kids and a box of tissues. I have been thinking about the cold issue. I usually get one a year, I am going to work on no colds next year. Bored of it.
Meanwhile. I finished the Millionaire Money Game yesterday for the business. Interesting. Not as easy as doing it for yourself. Mainly because to invest that amount of money you need to become more financially educated around what is possible in business with money and how to get the most bang for your buck so to speak.
Gandalf and I hit a few roadblocks trying to work out what we were going to do with the money and we still have a $1.6 million to spend. Virtual money is not as easy to get rid of as you would think. It really does make you plan though, which I am a huge fan of BTW. Planning, planning, planning. I may plan to plan this afternoon.

Money stinks

No money in the post, no money arrived in the bank account magically! The perfume didn't work yet. Will try again tomorrow. I am going to tally up my money game money and spend it on the business tonight. I have been a but half hearted. Maybe thats the issue with my lack of cashflow at the moment!

Money Perfume

I am in money collection mode so I have dug out the old money perfume that the Witches made me at the spell shop a little while ago.
It smells of lavendar and cloves and cinnamon, I think I smell like hot cross bun, but I have smelt worse in my life.
How does it work? Maybe the smell reminds me of my intention all day to be focussed on getting in the cash? Probably, but I quite like the smell and I look forward to getting the mail today.

Wicca Schedule for Managing Money 101

I am reading a book on spells for abundance by a white witch, its a bit dodgy, so I won't name it, but there are a few good pointers I thought I would share with you!

Sunday night is a great time to go through your personal finances.
Monday is a great time to order groceries.
Wednesday is a great time for sorting work finances.
Thursday is great for new business
and Friday is a day for nice things.

I think we should all have Fridays off! The weekend of 2 days is not nearly enough! I spend all one day entirely food shopping, cleaning the fridge out, organising the meals for the week and so on. I want another day to play!!

I have downloaded some home finance software and I am attempting to run my home finances like work, hmm, I have a major latte factor, I need to address this immediately. I just lose the cash that I withdraw from the ATM.

There are some other tips in the book to dissolve your debts by drawing snakes onto envelopes and placing your receipts into them for a period of time. I will look further into this and get back to y'all.

Is its the spells? The manifesting ? The Millionare Money Game I have been playing? Or just timing?
We have never been so wanted at work before. New brief are coming in from the most fantastic places, I cannot really say it is timing as some things are just coming out of the blue, but it is all fantastic and I have an attitude of gratitude.
Being in a state of Wealth Consciousness certainly helps, I am sure of that.
The old quote, "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change" rings true. I do not need anything else in my life, everything I have is just a bonus, but you could take it all away tomorrow and I would not miss a thing, I could probably make it all again and not repeat the same mistakes.

The Millionaire Money game is hilarious, you receive an amount of money twice a week via email [virtual money via Bank of the Universe] and you have to to spend it! You keep it all in a folder and print out the emails and if possible print out pictures or write down what you spend your money on.
It starts at $1000 in the first week and every week the amounts grow and after 3 months you have finally receive you final depsoit of $1000000. Gandalf and I have had a ball for the last 3 months spending our "money". We have discussed our goals, thought about what was important to us, shared money with our family and the Royal Children's Hospital and laughed alot.
It has in some respects ejected us into a state of wealth consciousness but it has also made us realise how much we already have that money cannot buy, bless!
