Getting away from it all
I tell ya, it was the BEST thing I could have done. On the way up, I won a big, big job and on the way back the Goddess Bookkeeper found an anomaly that was a lifesaving financial catch.
Perhaps in leaving town, I let the Gods go to work for us.
In the recent challenges that the business has faced, I have made the mistake of feeling that I needed to be at work every moment.
Just being here made me feel like I was doing something.
I was watching the pot boil, instead I needed to let go and let the changes happen with out my added pressure.
Take the pressure down baby and let it all just happen naturally.

There was an old woman who lived inside me...

Last night I dreamed I bought a handbag in a vintage shop, only to find upon opening it, that is was my grandmothers bag. It was filled with her letters, envelopes, cards, photos and hairbrush. In the dream, the style of bag was named the 'Freeman' bag. Ha!
A bag represents what I carry with me.
My grandmother symbolises the innate wisdom that we have inside us.
The contents of the bag represent my current challenge. Letting go of old memories to take in this life as fully as possible. Self care and emotional grooming through pushing and challenging myself to be better and do better. To take myself out of moments that make me anxious and contain and conduct myself in a more positive way.
It is never easy to grow as a person but I would rather growth, however hard, than stagnation and emotional stunting.
So, my dream tells me to trust my wisdom. To let go of worry and fear, to trust and move forward confidently in all the decisions I have recently made in my life.
The last few weeks have offered up challenge after challenge. I see now that this is to push me forward as quickly as possible, to help me be ready for the growth that is about to occur in my life. My house, my relationships, the book, the business. I have been asked to climb the ladder with the crocodiles snapping at my heels. So climb I have. One rung after another.
I still have a few more to clamber up but I see where I was and where I am going now.
And I carry my bag of wisdom with me.

Capricorn dancer

La Luna is in Capricorn, which is a fabulous time to be doing business. I have donned the tracksuit and have retired to the study at home to write a proposal. I hope this stubborn goat moon energy is on my side and I will be filled with brilliant insight. Enough brilliance that the proposal convinces the recipient of my companies capabilities to do the project.
Meanwhile, I write this blog to settle into my space. It has been so long since I have written in my study, months in fact, and how I have missed it. I love this little room, 'a room of ones own' as Virginia Wolf says is so important as a woman. A space to be yourself, not just someones wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, lover, cook, cleaner and peace keeper. In a space of our own we get to be our true selves. I cannot imagine life without my space. I have considering giving up the study when I move to my new house but my feelings of peace this morning tell me otherwise.
Off to weave magic with the keyboard, my friends.
Have a beautiful Moon in Capricorn Day and may it be blessed with lots of opportunity and cleverness.

Perfect Sunday

Sundays in the city of Melbourne can be perfect. Rain or shine, there is always something to do, see, eat and to ponder over. Melbourne is a thinking city and I think our Lady Melbourne has a brain and is not afraid to use it.
There is conjecture of the sun sign of Melbourne, I like to think of the Melbourne we know now as a Gemini, when John Batman signed a questionable 'treaty' with the Wurundjeri Tribe on June 6th.
Before it was named Melbourne, it was known as Batmania. Imagine that, it really would be our own Gotham City.
This morning, and a perfect one at that, I have traipsed though Carlton, Brunswick and the City. The skies are blue, the air has a slight chill, which is easily remedied by walking on the sunny side of the street and there is a sense of possibility in the air.
I treated this morning in our fair city with a silk scarf jauntily tied around my neck and this effort was rewarded with a multitude of compliments. Melbournians appreciate any fashionable endeavour or attempt, so incredibly Gemini, always one the classiest in the room. You know the sort, Diane Von Furstenburg wrap dress, Clergerie shoes and terribly modern jewelery from some new cool designer about to be bought by Browns or Harvey Nicks in London. They do it better than anyone, maybe even Taureans, who opt for the heirloom pearls over the modern jewels.
San Francisco is also a Gemini city, which, those of you who read this blog, would know is one of my fave cities other than Lady Melbourne. London is also a Gemini, theatre, art, music and food. There are similarities between all three Grand Dames.
Gemini's motto is "I think". Quick thinking, quick witted and with an endless creative well to draw upon, Geminis in any form embrace change and variety.
As an air sign Melbourne as a city is logical and make sense. This is evidenced by the design of the inner city with all major roads following a traditional north, south, east west system.
The city is divided by the Yarra river, which reflects the duality of the Gemini nature.
Geminis can be snobs and I am afraid Lady Melbourne can dish out a type of bourgeois intellectualism that makes out-of-towners laugh at her try hard affectations. But in true Gemini style, she dismisses any criticism and focuses on the writing, the coffee and great design.
Geminis are also a little moralistic, perhaps at times puritanical, and this is never more proved by the way Melbournians look down at their racy, sexy cousin Sydney, I think secretly Melbournians like to party in Sydney but are happy to come back to their knits and penguin paperbacks. What happens in Sydney stays in Sydney to a Melbournian. They will never mention the great views, seafood and the fact they wore a singlet without a cardigan in public, only Sydney has the power to truly corrupt a Melbournians values and fashion sense.
Ah, Lady Melbourne, you make me proud and happy to be a part of your fickle, elegant and classy city.
I love this town.

Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on

Wearing my lucky scarf from Blessed Seraph. Makes me feel fabulous. I swear it has special powers. I am sick and have 2 pitches today. he 'gorgessity' of the scarf makes me feel better.
Bring on Dr Footlights. Dr Footlights is a legend of the theatre. No matter how sick you are, you call on Dr Footlights and his quick shot of adrenalin will push you through the performance.
Today, the Fire Starter and I have been hit by a bug and we just have to get through till the curtains close.
Act One. Curtain rises.
Dreamweaver enters stage left.

Random thoughts throughout my day

• At 8.30am, I set myself a goal to not complain for 21 days.
I had failed by 9.35am.
• Spinning around my office I wondered if a recent comment on my personality was true, is anxiety my fuel with which I get things done?
Perhaps, but I do get a hell of a lot done, anxiously.
• Never complain, never explain is the motto of the day. No whining, no excuses. Just channel your energy into something worthwhile. Quit your bitchin' and do something, anything for gods sakes.
• Hiring for grownups at the moment. Maturity and self evolved people are so hot right now.
• Looking at old photos on my computer, I realise I have had a lot of haircuts over the years and not all of them were good.

Cleaning up
I am home and revisiting old posts on the blog upon advice from Fish Girl. Amazing the repeat performance that some themes get in my life. Even though it seemed like the end of the world then it was not, I got through it and I will again.
There once was a Chinese Emperor who wanted his wise men to create a saying that would be applicable to both good and bad moments. They came up with. 'Remember, this too will pass.'
The day after the eclipse is alway eerily quiet. Like the world has a hangover. The peace is welcome relief after the heat and intensity of the past 24 hours.
Relax.

Cry for the change

The lunar eclipse reached its zenith today with one fucking thinking after another. It was almost farcial, almost, but not quite.
Eclipses always brings crisis. We have been between a pair of eclipses for 2 weeks.
Crisis is not always horrific, it can stimulate change and force you to make decisions that hurt temporarily but allow you to personally grow. Eclipses, especially lunar, brings pain, but in the pain is a gift. Find the gift and you are on your path of success.
Gandalf mentioned that we are at the end of a full cleanout, a 'metaphysical enema' I called it.
Always important to see the funny side.
So tomorrow we are back through the doors, good things are coming and we are ready to receive them.
“Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion . . . . I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.”

Wake up sleepy head

You know that groggy feeling that comes after a deep slumber. A sleep so deep that you are not sure what was a dream and what is reality.
Yes my friends, Mercury pulls into the 'Direct Station' tomorrow. Time to makes sense of all the whack attack plans and ideas that have filled your head. I know that you are all wise enough to not pay any attention to the shadowy drama and alarm bells that have being ringing over the last 3 weeks.
Now is the time to get clear on any decision you needs to make for your lives, your business and your future.
But......
DO NOT DO ANYTHING!
Do not take action for another 10 days until Mercury gets comfortable and settles. It needs to rest in its direct position, like a roast. Let it sit for a while till the juices soak up the flavor.
Monday: Write your list of everything that has become clear to you, good and bad and just observations.
Tuesday: Sun sextile Pluto. A great time for converting your Mercury Retrograde list into your 2008 strategic plan. This transit loves its some sexy, luvin' research so get on it. The key is to shut the hell up about your plans. Keep your cards close to your chest and don't share it with anyone. Seriously, the plans can be shattered with the wrong energy at it.
don;t get over excited and boast about it at the gym, chances are that the low vibrational sucker on the treadmill in the spandex will jump off and take your ideas and make them their own. Silent like the wind my darlings.
Hush.

Coming down like the proverbial.......

There is a lunar eclipse next week. 20/21st February.
Whatever you put into play now will cement in eclipse. So the goal is to put as many things into play as possible. I am doing a K.Rudd (great article link) and being a workaholic then resting under the eclipse and watching all the chaos reorder itself. The fates come into play so get moving. Whatever you have thought about doing, or have started to do, take action!
Big shout out for birthday wishes and magic to The Contessa, Gandalf and Holly Hobbie!

Me Tarzan, You Change

A serious excavation of my scope tonight explains so much. Sometimes things are whack and you don't know why. The 7 planets transiting my 7th house explain so much.
I recently lost a big job. It hurts. To have it would have made all of Gandalf and my dreams so easy to fulfill. Now I am behind, with the some of the half actioned plans breathing down my neck.
We lost the job on the eclipse. Of course it was the eclipse. Change is afoot and there is nothing you can do to stop that horse once its bolted.
So I trust in the change. change has only ever been good for us at work. It forces you to stop being careful or lazy. It pushes you to make calls, think, go to Plan B!
Now, I am hanging onto my hat, swinging from tree to tree looking for bananas and I have decided to have fun while I navigate the jungle.
No doubt we will all soon be at the top of the jungles canopy, where I will rest in the sun, laughing with the team and think about all the new tricks we have learned.

Happy New Lunar Cycle

Rats are not my favorite animal. In fact, I loathe them, so it makes sense that I process my fear of them during this Chinese New Year, which is reported to be quite a positive year.
The rat is the sign at the beginnning of the Chinese zodiac, so this year is all about new beginnings. Fresh starts and new plans is the theme.
Rat is also a 1 animal, which ties in beautifully with 2008 being a 1 year in numerology.
Read here to see how you will fare in this Year of the Earth Rat.

Play it for me, DJ Krishna

Made it through a dark eclipse day, a highlight was a blissful hour spent with Blessed Seraph and her little cherub. So cute, I nearly got a spoon and ate the little doll.
Returned to work to some dark arts being performed by the Goddess bookkeeper to keep things moving till the money plug becomes unstuck.
I also spent a hilarious 10 minutes at a bakery while 6 people tried to work the cash register which had an attack of the Mercury Retrogrades. They kept apologising while I laughed at their vain attempts at getting it to work. I said to them that they needed to work out the money I owed them manually, as the register would only work when it felt like it.
Technology is energy and like people, sometimes it gets huffy. It tells you when it wants to perform. Once you accept this then life gets much, much easier.
New Moon tomorrow at 2.46 pm.
Wish for brilliant ideas, goals for life, excitement, friend and getting rid of any varicose veins.
Eclipse is tomorrow at 5.44 pm.
Weave magic for universal compassion and revealing your destiny.
Whatever you cast now will stay in power until the next solar eclipse in August.
Also a few old skool Hindu traditions for an eclipse.
- Some say, don't eat for 12 hours before a solar eclipse but drink water.
- Bathe with your clothes straight after an eclipse for cleansing.
- Don't eat any leftovers after the eclipse (easy for me, as there never are any in my house.)
I think meditating is a great eclipse ritual, as is bathing. I will be taking my clothes off though.
The Sadhana, from the Hindu and Buddhist traditions, recommends wishing the following order for -
1. If you are facing monetary problems and there is no source of income, then to be financially well off.
2. To get rid of diseases.
3. To gain fame, respect, laurels and prosperity.
4. If someone is against you and he is likely to harm you, then to render him unhostile.
5. To make someone favourable and getting something done through him.
6. To gain success in a Sadhana in which one has been repeatedly facing failure.
In fact this Sadhana can be tried to fulfill any wish, for accomplishing it during the eclipse is sure to bring success.
Right on, Happy New Moon and Eclipse for tomorrow peeps.Tuesday, February 05, 2008
Go to the light

The eclipse has plunged us into darkness and peeps all over town are acting whack. I have had some oddities since my return to work but nothing I can't handle. All I can make out in the dark is the shape of things to come. And from where I sit, they look good. I will wait till the light shines on the 7th to make certain, but I am very optimistic.
A woman I know has the words "Learning to live with uncertainty" stuck to her fridge.
A bold statement indeed but a reminder that life does not go according to your plans, so shut up and Trust.
Right now, transition is occurring and transition can be depressing. Your minds ticks over,"What am I letting go off and what if I may need it again? " Eeek!
Breathe, let go of control, embrace uncertainty and wait till the Universe turns the lights on. Then you can move the furniture, don't do it in the dark. It's dangerous and difficult and you are bound to stub your toe.

Dream

Back into work mode tomorrow, after a blissful and enlightening holiday period. I had 8 weeks off and I did not take one day for granted.
I honored my final week with some of my favorite activities. Fun times with the changelings, long lunches with old friends and philosophical cups of tea with new friends. Walks along the beach and organising my life and everything in it.
Tomorrow I am back into our business. I did not want to go back till the voice inside me said that it was time to go back to work. Till I yearned to be part of something again. Till the dreams inside my heart begged me to start to fulfill them.
I was fresh out of dreams and hope at the end of last year. That is what stress and no holidays for 2 years does to you. Now, I am better.
I have been followed by the word dream, of late. As a Pisces Moonie, I am acutely aware of the power of the dream. I plan on spending my first week at work reconnecting to the hopes and dreams for the business and for myself.
Dreams require attention. They need to be nourished and nurtured. It is so easy to start to stress about the small details that do not go the way you want. You cannot always change the outcome, only your reaction to the issues at hand. Trusting that things work out the way they are Meant to, providing you are doing all you can, is the key to business survival.
So dream on dreamers and go inside your heart to make them a reality.

Wise up peeps.

The new moon falls next week and there is a eclipse as the Sun and the Moon conjunct in Aquarius. There is a stellium or group of planets all in Aquarius next week. Chiron, Neptune and Mercury [retrograde] are all in Aquarius, plus the Sun and Moon, as I mentioned.
Think - ego, emotions, healing, magic, and revisiting past communications to make way for you to live your destiny.
Not too much pressure is it?
Depending on where Aquarius is in your chart, this is the area that will be highlighted.
Click here to read more about the effect of the eclipse on your natal house.
Fascinating. If you don't know where Aquarius is in your chart, email me you birthday, time and place and I will sort for you.

Get Clear
From Discord, Find Harmony.
In the Middle of Difficulty Lies Opportunity.
--Albert Einstein (Three Rules of Work)
I am in cleaning out mode. To ready myself for my house move in 2 months, I have challenged myself to throw out everything I hate, do not use, is outdated or makes me feel like shit.
It is a liberating and also a sorry state of affairs.
Let me start by saying this - I have too many things.
And let me also say, I have spent money on such said things.
I have wasted my money and the Scared Heart Opshop is about to get it all.
Yesterday was spent cleaning out my wardrobe, trying on everything, working out what went with what and then turfing the rest. Man, I have some ugly shit in my wardrobe and also some things I love, love, love.
I am on a clothes amnesty till 2011. Seriously. I have more clothes than anyone I know and yet I always wear the same outfits.
Cleaning it out, means facing it and this can complicated and depressing. It is a challenge to let it go without memories resurfacing. On the other hand, I am finding it quite liberating to piff some things, books that no longer speak to me. Airport chick-lit novels that were a quick hit for the brain. University texts that I am never going to need.
Clutter clogs who you really are. I have done most of my self development work in this house, spiritually and emotionally. What I bought with me from my last abode no longer resonates in this life. I clear this house of what I was, and make room for who I am now and what I shall become in my next house.

Duck off

Gandalf and I made the decision that we will only hire people who will make themselves the best they can be.
After spending time with the Libran Sylph, a past staff member, now doing he her thing in Ol' Blighty, on Friday. I was almost like a proud parent. Everything she is achieving, I knew she could do one day.
Now, trust me, do not believe that I had a much of a hand in where she is now, but every time she didn't believe in herself, I told her I thought otherwise. We encouraged and pushed at all the right moments and now she is living her best life. The level of care and concern she gave our business was second to none and quite frankly I do not want to hire anyone who thinks working at our business is, in the words of a past staff member, " just a job, why do you care so much?"
This attitude is the lone ranger in the business. The one who does not care about any outcome that does not effect them. Finger pointers and snakes in the grass. I have hired them and been charmed by them. No more.
We hire for talent and potential. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, it's a crap shoot.
Some peeps say that want to try to do their best but can't bring it, some take to self and professional development like a duck to water.
I have mostly ducks at work now. People who love to learn and do new things. They make it seems easy but are paddling like hell underneath and doing it with flair and style. The best ones are optimistic and kind. They love what they do and do what they love. They are in their sweet spot when they come to work and share the sugar around. There are days when I retire to my office, tears pricking my eyes with the sheer relief and joy that these people come into work everyday and I never, never take it for granted.
So for us from now on, we only want ducks goddammit!
Two steps forward, one step backwards

Let me go back to 2007. Why was it such a tough year for so many people?
Well, many, many retrograde and eclipses throughout 2007 certainly took their toll on the emotions. For example, all the Mercury retrogrades last year were in Water signs. Thus we were forced to dive deep into the emotional dark waters to find out what lurked below, only to gasp for air at the end of the cycle, then dive back down, to do it all again. This year Mercury retrogrades only in the air signs, so thinking, light energy and new ideas is what we will focus on. Thank God!
For now, we face a big astro week, where the crazy just ain't stopping.
This week we have Mercury going retrograde in Aquarius and Mars goes Direct tomorrow. Mars has been retrograde since November 2007. Our energy has been compromised, stress levels are up and where ever Mars is in your chart then this area of your life will be seriously stalled.
Tomorrow it moves forward.
Roll out the red carpet for the red planet.

Spin the wheel

This is the Tibetan Prayer or Mani Wheel that Gandalf bought me as present for finishing my book. Made by H.H Dali Lama's Charitable Trust in Tibet, inside are rolls of thin paper that have the mantra or prayer of Om Mani Padme Hum printed on it in Tibetan or Indian script. These are wound around an axle and then housed in the protective container.
Always to be spun clockwise, so the prayer follows the direction of the sun, they invoke the spirit of the the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Chenrezig. Almost as popular a fellow as Buddha himself. Chenrezig live in all of us and we connect with him when we love another person animals or any part of nature.
Om Mani Padme Hum is a hard phrase to translate. It is said to house all the teachings of Buddha in this one sentence. The best interpretation is this from the 14th Dali Lama himself.
- "It is very good to recite the mantra Om mani padme hum, but while you are doing it, you should be thinking on its meaning, for the meaning of the six syllables is great and vast... The first, Om [...] symbolize the practitioner's impure body, speech, and mind; they also symbolize the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"
- "The path is indicated by the next four syllables. Mani, meaning jewel, symbolizes the factors of method: (the) altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassion, and love.[...]"
- "The two syllables, padme, meaning lotus, symbolize wisdom[...]"
- "Purity must be achieved by an indivisible unity of method and wisdom, symbolized by the final syllable hum, which indicates indivisibility[...]"
- "Thus the six syllables, om mani padme hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"
Whilst not a Buddhist, I feel blessed and connected to have the Mani wheel in my home. To learn and understand what is is and why it is important, is a gift in itself.
Thanks Gandalf.

Transform goddammit!

Pluto goes into Capricorn today. The Lord of the Underworld has been hanging out in Sagittarius for 13 years, musing and changing the way we view the world an its philosophy. The rise of fundamentalism is directly related to Pluto in Sagg. Sagg is all about opposites, emotional and philosophical. The Good Vs. The Evil Doers. USA and Muslim extremists reflect this transits energy the best.
Before that he was in Scorpio, thus the rise of Aids and sexual terror.
Pluto always shakes things up before he moves into another sign. First the stock market crash and now the $8.2 billion fraud at French bank Societe Generale by a rogue trader. He is making himself felt.
Now Pluto is in Capricorn for the next 16 years. He is a slow mover, the Dark Lord Pluto.
In Capricorn, it transforms the world, particularly in business to get us ready for a new way of living. Big business will suffer in this transit as will the business or business owner who relishes control. Now is the time to say not how it 'could' be in a perfect world, but how it 'should' be. Pluto in Capricorn is the great leveler.
Particularly, business will be come more based in the East and in Eastern traditions.
Interestingly, I have been all about Feng Shui since I came back from Kuala Lumpur, to the point that I have am considering using a Feng Shui consultant for my new home and office. Embrace the East!
Eventually we will move in Pluto Aquarius, which will see the end of the use of fossil fuels and the carbon offset contributions will become mandatory.
But enough, how does this transform the Sun Signs, and you?
Aries - Expect competition in business or career. Somebody has been watching and is now coming to take the crown. Try to let go of the 'my way or the highway' attitude and make changes to grow and be the picture of success. So what if they are trying to be like you. Grow and lose the Ego. Your Sun is in contact with Pluto, so who you are and what you think you are will change, let go and hop on for the ride. Don't think about what you 'could' be but what you 'should' be for your best life. Be the change, you make the trends, so keep making them!!!
Taurus - Change happens for you also but on a deeper level. A new strength and confidence which makes a nice change for the confusion of the last 13 years, where Pluto was in your money sector. Expect to change physically, diet, exercise and releasing bad habits.
Gemini - Set up your financial goals now. Do the budget and start to save. Simple but clear, whatever you sow the seeds for now will grow beautifully. If you choose to ignore this advice then be it at your owwn peril. I am serious. Work with Pluto here and encourage the change or else he will make his feelings known and it will be beyond your financial control.
Cancer - All about relationships, makeups and breakups. Look at what you dislike in others and see if you are reflective of these behaviours yourself. Chances are, you will be. Instead of having a transit of heartache and separation, instead choose to make yourself the most enlightened and proactive person in all your relationships, platonic or not.
Leo - Now is the time in your life in which you make your mark on the world. A literally spraying your scent ( I know, gross but apt). this is a good time and trabsit for Leos. Don't lose confidence dear Lions, instead just fake it till you make it, get ready for success and what you sow here will put you on a path for the rest of your career life.
Virgo - This is when you get creative. Arts, music, parenting, inventions, new ways of living. It is extraordinary what you should achive e with this transit. Truly, do somethign wonderful, I don't mean reading and cooking from '100 ways with mince meat.' Sign up for everything and then see what sticks.
Libra - Just when you think you have enlightenment then Pluto will come and turn off the enlightenment switch again. Just when you think you have the answer ten the question will be rephrased and suddenly you will be clueless again. This is what this transit will be like. Learn to live with uncertainty and let go of the control. Control freaks no more!
Scorpio - Scorpio is all about heath and diet and ending bad habits like the Taurus. Empowerment is the key to Scorpio happiness with Pluto in Capricorn. You start the change before pluto starts it for you. Be proactive and harness the Scorpio power to transform.
Sagittarius - Money, money, money. Pay attention and be careful. Be like the Gemini and sow the seeds now for the investment in your financial future.
Capricorn - You will do better than the others as Pluto is in your sign. try not to get all uppity about it though. You have magic powers for sure but use them for good not evil. See this transit as a responsibility not an entitlement. Be kind and magnanimous not despotic.
Aquarius- Expect psychic insights and a connection with the intuitive self. Find your strengths and then use them everyday. This will make you happy. Go here to find your signature strengths.
Pisces - A good transit for Pisces. Friends, coworkers and family all help towards doing what ever it is that you want. Just be sure that you know what it is that you want and then harness the determination of Pluto to make it happen!
Whatever signs you are, Pluto urges you to start the process of transformation as much as possible, otherwise Pluto ill transform for you, and that is never pretty!

Nothing more beautiful
This is perhaps the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.Grace Kelly was a Triple Scorpio (Sun, Ascendant, Mercury) with a Moon in Pisces.
Wow, she worked the sexuality (Scorpio) with piety (Pisces) like a charm.
I could stare at this picture for hours. The detail in the lace, the colour of her lips, the cathedral ceiling. It is perfection.
Nothing more. I just wented to share it with you.
Pillow talk

Late into the wee hours, Gandalf and I talked.
Few in my life know of my insomniac tendancies. I go through stages where I do not sleep for weeks. This is one of them. I choose not to struggle with it now, instead I try to focus on what is waking me and what I need to process. You can make multiple withdrawals from the sleep bank but it only takes a few good sleeps to reinvest and top up the Zzzz's.
Trying to find a peaceful mind ain't always easy my friends. A peaceful mind means letting go of what is crowding it. last night I ran the gamut of thoughts from work, to new house, new babies and anything else that my mind thought worthy. Today I can remember none of them. I did have fantastic dreams once I went to sleep. Powerful, inspiring dreams. Can't complain about that.
Interestingly though, I have having INCREDIBLE experiences with 'coincidences' or 'syncronicities'. Unbelievable moments that have been blowing me away!
I am in another world right now I think, but it's nice, so please come visit.

Death on a Full Moon

Playing with my astrology software last night, I noted to Gandalf about how many peeps in my life have Moon In Cancer.
Cancer is the home of the Moon, which is lovely. These astro types are intuitive and receptive, great sense of humour but it also makes them the most susceptible to addiction, self abuse and mood swings.
When the news of Heath Ledgers sad death broke this morning, I thought, he must have a moon in Cancer. Dunno why, just made sense. Looking at his chart, he does have this placement. He died on a Full Moon. Always intense for Cancer Moons.
Some people with Moon in Cancer, such as Drew Barrymore, Mary J. Blige and Robin Williams have been able to overcome their addictions and mood swings. Others such as Heath, Kurt Cobain and Janis Joplin, all Cancer moons have suffered at their owns hand, meeting with untimely deaths and talent and their lifes dreams unfulfilled.
Cancers Moonies are like dogs chewing on a bone, even though the meat on the bone has long gone. Gnawing until they begin to gnaw at themselves. Reclusive, the sit in their kennel and chew and stew about whatever unhealed wound is aching.
Heath had Venus, Mars and Mercury in Pisces in the 9th house, I think he may have written to release his pain, one day he may have written something that was so brilliant that he would share it with the world. Who knows now?
Astrology aside, whenever a child is left without a parent I am saddened. Particularly when this child will have no memories of their father other than the films that he leaves behind.
Love and light to anyone who is hurting.

Crossing over

I realised today how much of my goals seem to be, in my mind, dependent on the acquisition of the material world. 'If I had more money then I could...'
I personally focus too much on the nuts and the bolts of the bridge I am building. 'How much do they cost? Where can I get them low costs but high quality? Will they have the nuts and bolts that I need?'
Instead I need stand upon the highest arch of my bridge, so I may be able to look at things a different way.
From here, I can see the waters to be crossed, looking ahead to the land ahead, where promises and opportunity lies.
The nuts and bolts, the dollars and the cents will take care of themselves.
'Could we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently, but life itself would come to be different.'

Feng Shui Me Please

I recently return from Malaysia, where I spent some time Kuala Lumpur. KL, as they call it, is all about Feng Shui. It is everywhere you go, magazine, consultants, shops and advertisements spuiking the benefits of this age old tradtion of harnessing correct energy flow for prosperous family, heath and abundance. So while in KL I did what they 'Lumpurs' do and I hooked into Feng Shui. I had a consultation and received talismans for my new house and my business.
I came away with 3 wise men for my house and a frog with a coin in its mouth to put in the sun on my office window ledge. The Feng Shui master was into the fact that I wanted to learn and treated the art of Feng Shui with respect. Of course I was respectful. Feng Shui has been around for thousands of years and who is to argue with a jewelled frog with a coin in its mouth!

Don't hate me, but....
This was my view for 8 days. Sometimes I went to the other side of the island and sat at looked across the bay at Thailand, marveling that I could be in one country and looking at another.
Now I am home, sated and rested after fun in the sun and reconnecting with myself, my family and my dreams.
Home to Blesseds perfect Baby Goddess that was born when I was away. I cannot think of nicer news to come home to than the birth of this much waited for and loved baby girl.
I am happy to be home. I hate traveling. You know that old saying, 'Its not the destination its the journey.'
Hate it. Don't agree at all. I hate the travel and love getting to my destination.
And now I am home.
Will immerse in an astro bath tomorrow and report later. New year, new ideas and new goals. Bring it on! Bring it on! Bring it on!

Xanadu exists
Where I am holidaying is Xanadu or in the very least the heaven I remember in 'Angels In America.'
Everyday I try to not be overwhelmed by the sheer perfection of it all but I cannot. I must give in and let go of my judgement, even if the jugelment is positive. The sleep is helping, luxury is sugar on top and the love I am receiving is the cherry.
Stay well friends.

Take a break

I am on holidays. I am heading off to a remote island for 10 days. I have Venus in my 5th house till I return. It's funny the way astrology works. I did not plan this holiday around this time, the Universe did it for me. I think the more aware you are the more you start to click with the transits. I am happy this transit is happening. It is long overdue and holiday and well deserved for Gandalf, myself and the changelings. I have a suitcase filed with books, educational and entertaining and I am ready to go. I will come back to Blesseds baby, so exciting for her and her Ram - Beau.
I wish you all well and a good transits.

The way to anarchy is happiness

I am reading Authentic Happiness by Martin Seligman as recommended by The Good Doctor. Fascinating and can't put it down. Actually read it while waiting at red lights in the car yesterday, trés unsafe I know, so save your lectures.
Excellent read for the start of 2008. Choosing happiness over the fear based, bad news indoctrination that we have received for eons from secular, religious dogma.
Lovely writing and easy to read without overuse of psychological jargon.
It makes me think about all those who choose to be pessimistic or as Freud said, 'unduly embittered about their past and unduly passive about their future.'
I have met those who think this is the way to show their protest about life, that we are doomed and therefore should behave as such. They are though, merely falling into the trap of the masses.
The anarchists are the happy ones. By choosing not to be a victim, to play to personal strengths and ignoring the idea that we are living in a negative society (which only exists to stop people from doing want they want, scare them and they'll do nothing type of idea) then we are being truly outrageous.
Happiness is the best type of protest.

Egyptian Moon

The Moon is in Scorpio and apparently the Goddess of the Scorpio Moon is the Egyptian Goddess, Isis.
The Scorpio Moon is most often fierce. I often have a hard time when the Moon is in Scorpio but today I harnessed the energy and hooked up with my Scorpio Goddesses - Blessed Seraph and The Grecian Goddess, with Blessed's lovely Den Mother attending.
Scorpio Moon transits bring mystery and secrets. As I said, the only Goddess equipped to to deal with the Scorpio intensity is Isis. Isis is all about regeneration and transmutation.
Basic plot line of the Isis myth is this -
Queen Isis was married to her brother Osiris who was ruler of the throne. They were the children of Nut and Geb, and had an additional sister named Nephthys and brother Set. Isis was supposed to marry Set, not Osiris. When a jealous Set slew the beloved Osiris and dropped his body into the Nile, Isis did not simply mourn her lost love, but moved all forces of nature and rescued the body of her husband from where it had come to rest in Byblos.
Isis, with her sister Nephthys were preparing for the ceremonial burial of Osiris when his murderer Set stole the body and hacked it into fourteen pieces. Isis searched the length and breadth of Egypt, gathering together his pieces and, with the god Anubis, bound him together to make him whole, save for his phallus. In one version of the myth Isis formed a new phallus and attached it to her deceased husband’s body. For this and her unfathomable skills of re-creation, she is called Isis, ‘great of magic.’
She made magic wings for herself and became a desert kite, circling the sky, wailing and lamenting over the deceased Osiris. The wings and the wind they created wafted the breath of life into the dead Osiris. The devoted wife mounted her husband and with their union, conceived a son, Horus. Fearful that the jealous Set would seek out and injure her son, she bid her husband farewell. Osiris descended into the underworld to rule over the Netherworld. Isis went out into the wilderness, gave birth to Horus and hid him in the papyrus marshes, guarding him from Set and the natural forces and dangers, such as snakes and predators, until he came of age.
Only a Scorpio could bring walk the line between life, death and the afterworld. All Hail, Isis!

New beginnings

I wove a little magic for new beginnings and happiness this afternoon.
Moon moves in Libra and Venus into Sagg. Venus has been under the intense gaze of Scorpio for a long while, so this move into Sagg becomes more free and happy. Less drama and more direct fun. It may make us yearn for the 'great love' though and question what we have right now. Expect to hear, 'I don't want to be rude but remind me again why I love you?'
Don't be offended and use the energy to list exactly why you are fabulous in 1000 ways.
Hmmm.
Sun is in Capricorn. Venus is in Sagg. Mercury in Capricorn. Mars in Gemini, Moon in Libra.
Lots of air, fire and earth but no water. Makes sense with the heat that we are experiencing. This is bushfire weather, I am afraid and air only serves to build up the fire that could destroy the earth.
Makes me wary.

Are all my friends are mermaids and mermen

Studying astro charts of nearest and dearest and realised that so many of my dear friends, both present and departed are water signs. As an earth sign, we love the watery types. Water sustains us and nourishes us. It moves obstacles and washed away our toxins. Earth in turn gives Waters sign the stability they crave. Earthy types are the sturdy dam wall to the watery constant flow.
Water types cop it hard in Western society though. Our culture is focussed on academic success, logic, argument and theory. All Air attributes. Never a winner with the Water types.
Watery signs understand feelings. All types of feelings, from the darkest, most murderous thoughts, to sensing joy that they can dissect into a thousand different words.
Water signs often feel isolated though. They are so attuned to to others feelings that their feeling often get washed over. They are not always understood by others and their brilliant gift of sense is not respected anymore. They are witches and soothsayers of the past, where they live. Water is all about the past. They retain memories and are saddled with the burden of lives not lived through their ancestors who visit them often. Trés psychic, BTW.
Waters signs hang on to feelings emotions and often get stuck in the present because of how they feel about the past. If they judge the feeling they are experiencing then they are doomed but if they just experience it, then they will get into the flow once more. They feel so they can understand and share their knowledge and compassion. The most compassionate people I know, are Water signs.
The darkest side though of the water sign is the emotional manipulation , the emotional control. They know what buttons to press because they know how you feel even if you are not fully aware of it yourself. Trés moody and very self destructive with an addiction to the dark side of their own feelings, they self medicate with drugs, alcohol or whatever other addiction is de rigeur. They really rely on these stimulants if their emotional, feeling life is not being fulfilled in anyway.
Cancerians are the babbling brook, the tributary that leads to the river. It is mother and child love. It is caring for the caretaker. It is the water of ancestry.
Scorpios are the still water. The waters of passion, who is seeking its true love. It is the pond that freezes over, dark, powerful and intimate. It is the mystery of water.
Pisceans are the ocean. Tides ebbing and flowing, in and out to indicate that the world is always changing. It is about progress for humanities sake and always about what we leave for our future generations.
Water though is all about endings. Finishing things off. Making sense of the feelings and understanding how and when to let go to move on with your life.
Water signs come and go in my life, some are there for the long haul though. All of them are brilliant and amazing and have Meant more to me than any other signs I know. My greatest lessons have been from Earth. Some of the best conversation have been with Air signs. I haave felt intense passion with Fire signs. But my greatest friendships have been with Water signs.
Both my children are Water signs.
I have my Ascendant and Moon in different water signs.
I understand.
I feel you, mer-peeps.
Is sustainable living a new religion?

Does this mean new Satan is now global warming? It figures with the concept that Earth will soon be as hot as Hades if we don't take immediate action.
Stick with me here. I am hearing more and more people taking up the global challenge to see who can do the most with the least.
Don't get me wrong. I think it is commendable but it is becoming the trés fashionable dinner party conversation, that I have been included in recently.
People, fabulous people, who I thought would have no time for such malarky as the chickens and water tanks are taking country like living with a verve not seen since Marie Antoinette and her country folly, complete with sheep dyed pink and blue.
My question is, will it last?
What I like about the sustainable push is the faith and hope that it inspires in the world. That people can do their bit. Everyone is responsible and even the smallest action matters.
Mercury sextile Uranus today, thus the philosophising.

The Comet Cometh

Comets are bad news. We have Comet Holmes in the skies at the moment. No, not Mrs Cruise, another and if you can believe it, more sinister starlet.
I have been reading about comets today. The Ancients believed them to cause political upheaval and 'foul, demonic deeds'. Losing ones head is quite possible when this particular comet is in the skies, both literally and spiritually. This Comet Holmes is spinning past the cluster of stars that represent 'Royal Families'. The young inheritors of these families will be hurt by acts of rash impulse and careless action.
Benazir Bhutto was the political royalty, The heir apparent. Her father was Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the country's first popularly elected prime minister, toppled by the military in 1977 and later hanged. He lost his head and now Benazir lost her life. It's all too tragic.
Don't think this will be be the end at all, btw.
Last time we had a Comet in the Skies, Comet McNaught, the world lost Saddam Hussien, by hanging and James Brown, music royalty, as the Godfather of Soul.
This weeks news has been harrowing. So many awful stories about moments of heads being lost and lives lost. Tigers are escaping from the Zoo. Dogs killing new babies. Fathers being killed in front of the children on Christmas Day with a cricket bat.
When you are next asked, 'What is going on in the world?' You can answer, 'It's that Holmes Comet.'
I used to blame Tom Cruise for everything that was wrong in my life, now I blame Holmes.
Stay tuned and if you are royal, lay low!

I award you the Self Protecting Triple Cross

Self protecting like crazy this holiday season. Taking myself out of all potentially difficult and door slamming situations.
The Moon was full over Christmas and on the Eve it was in Cancer, which made us all want to be at home. Cancer drives us home and home. With my ascendant in Cancer, I felt the home drive deeply, so I canceled all events and sat at home with Gandalf and wrapped pressies and was in bed by 10.00 pm. Christmas was spent quietly with Gandalf, the changelings and beloved parents, brother, sister and her poppets.
It was lovely and as my mother handed me more of her amazing food, I was happy. To be taken care of and nurtured. I am blessed.
Laughing with my sister till we nearly vomited, to our parents unintentional French farce. It was complete with multiple doors opening and answering phones. Hilar! Still laughing when I think of it. Highlight!
Moon is in Leo today. All about grand thoughts and courage. I woke thinking of the most exciting events in my life thus far.
- The day after my wedding
- The day I bought Scorpio Daughter home from hospital and she was all mine
- The moment Pisces Son was carried to the side of my bed and I knew he was fine
- Buying my house
- Finishing my book.
All shell no filling, so to speak.
Napoleon Bonaparte was a Leo. So was Carl Jung.
Today, channel Jung more than the short man with a hand in his jacket. I shall leave you with this quote before I hit the sales.
The word 'belief' is a difficult thing for me. I don't believe. I must have a reason for a certain hypothesis. Either I know a thing, and then I know it, I don't need to believe it. - Carl Gustav Jung
Now, that is Leo Confidence.

Feelgood '08

Inspired by Miss Numerella, I formed the theme for my 2008.
The theme is 'Feelgood'. I think it is possible to feel good most of the time, we just allow ourselves to be bought down by the people, media and environments we expose ourselves to.
If we attract what we feel then 'good' is where it is at for 2008.
So I choose to:
Only spend time with people who I feel good around.
Listen to music that makes me feel good.
Treat my body in a way that feels good.
Banish negative thoughts of the past and focus on thoughts of a positive future.
Read what feels good.
Watch what feels good.
I feel good already.
Today stinks
Yes, a tough astro day.
I certainly felt it, negative energy and internal/external dialogue that could hurt the psyche.
On top of that, I have had a bad smell following me all day. It started at breakfast with friends. The establishment smelt of vomit and dirty nappies at the same time. I am sorry, but that is how it was described to me. The Fraulein I sat next too, insisted on wearing her hair across her nose towards the end, like a lady version of Movember. It was bad. Then home to some sort of smell from my sink that will outlast religion. What is going on, I wondered?
Melbourne has had a deluge of rain for days. Heavy rain that makes you wear a Priceline bag on your head when running to the car to save your hairstyle ( I did this), only to find it saved nothing, least of all your dignity.
The arvo was spent out, then home to pull darts from my back, lucky I had my suit of energy armor on but still, its unsettling.
I watched a serial killer 'sitcom' felt uneasy and then went to bed to have nightmares. What, am I six years old? Now I can't sleep, so thought I would talk to you.
And the smell is still lurking in my kitchen from the arse that is stuck in my drain.
I think the astro forecast, combined with the weather forecast is stirring up the shit, both spiritually and literally.
The astro forecast is all about ducking for cover and if you don't have to see the people that shit you the most then don't, 'cause now is the time that it will all come out, words will be said that will be regretted, decisions will be made that may not be able to be undone, tempers frayed and the whole things seems like a slice of refried crazy.
Not easy to avoid the painful over the stupid season though, I know.
Think of it like transition in labour, the crazy that happens before the moment of peace and bliss when the baby is born. In my transition with Scorpio Daughter, I tried to get the bus home, except my legs did not work from the epidural. I was like Ron Kovic from Born on the 4th of July, lifting my legs off the bed and telling people 'thanks but I had enough and will be finding my own way home.' Still makes my sister laugh when she thinks of it, apparently.
Remember, this too will pass - the smells in the drains, the negative energy the pointed at you, the lady moustache. It will all pass and on the other side will be puppy dogs, rainbows and giggling babies.
P.S A big shoutout to Blessed and Ram - Beau for their wedding anniversary today.
xoxoxo

It's alive!

Yes, a shameless plug for the book - 'Spiritual Business- Creating a Business from The Heart.'
I have condensed everything I know and have learned from this blog and other sources to write the first ever 'Spiritual Business Plan'.
It worked for me and I hope it will work for you should you need Spiritual guidance in your business and working life.
I am planning on releasing next year, in the fortunate 2008, the Year of The Earth Rat. This is a year that is predicted to be the year of beginnings and accomplishments.
Click on the link and register your name and you will get one hot of the presses as soon as I can wing it to you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
So mote it be.
Void of Course
Mercury enters Capricorn today which is an excellent transit for successful communication but also makes us mindful of how we spend our money. Always good at this time of the year.
I have started my break this week, although still being slightly distracted by the odd work related issue.
Interestingly, I have started to dream this week about things coming to life again. Watering trees and them reviving in front of me. I am also starting to see signs again of syncronicities. This is good. Although it makes me realise how the 'trap of busy' stops the flow and the time to takes to notice the signs.
In 2008, I will take more time to slow down and take a moment to be present and be aware.

The Death Star Cometh

A Death Star galaxy is sending out a powerful jet of particles and magnetic radiation that is likely obliterating any possible life in its broad path, notably in a nearby galaxy, astronomers said on Monday.
They said the two galaxies appear to be merging and the disturbance in the magnetic field caused by this movement may have awakened a dormant, supermassive black hole in one of the galaxies.
This is a movement, that in astrology circles that is associated with a massive fall in the stock market. There are many astrologers that predict the rise and fall of the market by the stars. so todays fall in the market was in noted by those in the know.I felt the magnetic field shift today, rising to major technology issues that thankfully were solved, though not without stress on my behalf. It is always important to remember to stay calm when faced with techno - shit. Your energy affects machines, combined with the 'Death Star' you are facing quite a battle.
Thinking about the stock market issue, I wonder if in fact it is just trying to balance itself out. There is an equal reaction to every action.
The Universe will always get what it wants in the end, and that is hubris for us humans. Try as we may to build the tower, eventually the foundations will fall. Tides come in and wash away house, mountains shift and wipe away entire villages built on their sides.
You cannot fight nature. We will solve the environmental crisis we are facing because that is what the Universe wants.
Everything rights itself.
Balance will rule.

The Big Bang

This is what I have felt like as I have had Pluto squaring my moon for 11 months. Not pretty, in fact 'pretty shitty' as my six year old would say.
It has finally gone. It is the most intense of transits, rendering the receiver vulnerable and emotionally defenseless.
It makes you question everything and delve deep into your psyche, particularly around relationships and mothering.
Many people have death in their lives during this transit, especially if it is in Scorpio.
My Moon is in the 8th house, the house of death and regeneration. I have had to learn to let things go this last 11 months. Although I have not had any physical death, relationships have died and for me this year and others have renewed. I have rid myself of dependency and others dependency on me, which is huge for me, huge!
Pluto digs deep, its the astrological archaeologist. Unearthing the past to make enable you to understand your patterns to be able to face your future with confidence.
I finished my Pluto moon transit last night with hideous dreams about my dearest ones being sick or compromised of some sort. Gandalf, changelings, my mother, sister, all hurting in some way. Each malady individual but all interconnected. One story wove into the next and am awake knowing what it is that I fear the most. Now I let it go. The rain falls down and I let it wash away the last parts of Pluto and my fear.
Let it go, let it go, let it go.......

Looking forward to happiness
The three days before we bought our house, a monarch butterfly flew inside our living room and refused to leave. It supped from honey and water that the changelings left out for it, and seemed impervious to my worry that it should be outside. Then the day after we bought the house, it simply flew out the door.
Butterflies symbolise transformation and embracing the new. There is a Native American legend that says that if you have a secret wish then whisper it to a butterfly and it will take your wish to the Great Spirit. By releasing the butterfly then you are restoring balance to nature and your reward will be your wish being granted.
Thank you to the butterfly and the Great Spirit for granting our wish.
Conversation with a dear friend who spoke of having something to look forward to. Her old friend, who has struggled with a difficult life and some bad choices for her lifestyle has only just discovered this concept through some therapy and self discovery.
I have heard it said that happiness is something to do, something to love, and something to look forward to.
Right now I have all of those in abundance. There is always something to do in the silly season, and lots of loved ones to catch up with and I have wonderful things to look forward to - parties, holidays, a new house. All in that order.
If you have any of the three things I listed then you are doing okay- people to love, things to do and joyous occasions on the horizon. Look around you and take stock of what is in your life.
Choose to be happy. Happiness does not mean your life is perfect, perfect does not exist.
Instead it means you have made the choice to overlook the imperfections and the flaws and focus on what is wonderful.
I read this affirmation for happiness- 'My happiness draws an overwhelming amount of blessings into my life.' If your thoughts create your future then create something amazing for yourself. I will be using this till then end of next week, just to give me the extra emotional fuel to get me through.

Can you feel it?
If you are sensitive then manage who and what you expose yourself to over the next while.
Esteemed astrologer told me this morning that expect family fights at Christmas this year.
Buckle your seatbelts peeps.
Shine a light on me

Dreams about my house plunged into darkness last night.
Jung believes the house in your dreams represent the Self. Different rooms are different parts fo yourself. Kitchen is nourishment, bathroom -cleansing, living room-social aspects etc.
Last night I was in the hallway of my house. As a metaphor in dreaming, This is the passage between the unconscious and conscious self.
In my dream, none of the light switches worked and I had to find a torch and then make my way to fix them. I managed to get to the fuse box and then switch it on.
This dream came after a session with Domonique to understand why I am so bone tired.
An enlightening dream in every way.

Anyone got my mojo?
_-_A_Portrait_of_Genevi%C3%A8ve_Bouguereau_(1850).jpg)
This afternoon, after an overwhelmingly exciting and amazing weekend, where Gandalf and I made a long held dream come true, a cloud of despair wrapped around me. I didn't want to go to work tomorrow. This feeling grabbed me by my heart and I became tired with the burden of responsibility.
I felt like a fraud. Have I not been the poster girl for working with Spirit in business? Yet here I was feeling angry and without passion for the business which I have loved and nurtured.
Thinking long and hard I placed myself on the imaginary shrinks couch and self diagnosed.
Inital diagnosis:
1) No holiday in 2 years. Never a wise decision to martyr yourself. You will end up tired, stressed, unwell and not at all helpful to your business.
2) I got caught up in the small stuff. There is an old saying, 'The main thing is to make sure that the main thing is the main thing.' This year I have constantly been distracted from the vision by small details. These details have taken so much of my time that I did not keep 'the main thing' in mind. The main thing for me is to create a successful business that I enjoy going to each day.
3) Not having or making any time to learn. This year I have been caught up in writing an book, running a business and managing a household. The year before, when I started this blog I dedicated myself to learning. This year, I didn't make time to actively learn and so the Universe thought it best that I learn on the job. We never stop learning but sometimes it is best choose your learning instead of trial by fire as I have discovered over the last 12 months.
I am nearly there, I only have 3 days left of work, but as I near the finish line I am dragging my feet. Each step seems like I am pulling my leg from quicksand. Fishgirl says this is my Scorpio year, next year will be more Capricorn. This year will be soon be finished. I will honour the next 3 days and then I will enjoy my time off to regenerate.
I look forward to my holiday where I shall spend time with my beloved Gandalf and precious changelings. Talking about our new house, our plans for our business, our future, recharging from loving each other.
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on.

Pluto it up your Uranus

Yesterday was dark.
I popped my mask on and punched through yet the energy was thick and murky.
Yesterday afternoon I helped a sick friend out with her kids. Intensely ill, she has only arisen from the maze of test and hospitals to be able to make the short trip from bed to front door. She took my breath away with her thin frame and positive attitude.
More power to her.
Venus is in Scorpio today till December the 30th. Moon moves into Scorpio this afternoon. I always have a hard time when the Moon in Scorpio. Not today though. I have decided to transcend the pattern and use freewill to make Moon in Scorpio a positive transit for me. The positive aspect of the Moon in Scorpio is finding the ability to embrace your power. Use the intensity to overcome the FEAR that stops us from manifesting the BEST in our lives. Fear has recently over taken my week. Such a typical Pluto aspect. Scorps fear very little. I need to embrace this more. Hook into the Scorp part of self.
True balance is acheived when we take part of all the signs and bring them into our being.
Each sign carries on from the next:
•Aries has the BIG idea.
•Taureans plan how to make it happen.
•Geminis make the idea fly and become real.
•Cancerians make everyone feel great about it.
•Leos sell it.
•Virgos make sure its all working in perfect order
•Librans bring balance and peace to the idea.
•Scorpios find all the information and secrets about the ideas and keep them locked away safe from prying eyes.
•Sagittarians sets goals and plans a future for the idea.
•Capricorns make the idea more successful than could be imagined.
•Aquarians make the idea work independently and freely from any individual.
•Pisceans make the idea helpful for the collective for generations to come.
Each signs takes over from the last. So important to recognize if you are struggling with a particular sign. They are important, you are important, we all have a job to do and so let go and go and do it!

Converting to Spirit
I have been trying more of late, to connect with the higher vibrations and the Truth in my life.
It feels like climbing Mount Everest with a can of coke and a big stick though, with the year I have had.
In numerology, every year has a theme that applies to the year ahead for you. These years are bundled into nine year cycles. Looking at the year I have been through, my trusty hindsight spectacles give me great insight into what has been and what have learned.
I look forward to the year ahead and push myself to live my Truth and be who I want to be. I forgive myself for all my mistakes, even if others do not, and know what I am trying everyday to be better than I was the day before. I cannot change the past, cannot order my future, I can only be as I am now.
Moon in in Virgo, moving to Libra later today. Moving from perfectionism to emotional balance.
Let it all go and accept where you are. All is as it should be and you are where you should be.
I am writing my professional and personal plans this week with a well earned retreat at the end of the week planned. Spiritual connection awaits me. I couldn't sleep last night with relief of knowing this is soon to be. A retreat for the mind, body and soul.
Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on.
