Fish , Pigs and a God called Mercury

Yes, Chinese New Year, and Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. Lets deal the Mercury Retro first. Mercury Retrograde, in Pisces means that wherever we have Pisces in our chart we are experiencing introspection in these parts. Strange dreams and psychic flashes are on the cards as are moments of grand and impossible planning. Mercury Retrograde is considered the Trickster transit, so don't trust anyway you are feeling until the 8th March when the bugger moves forward again.

The Chinese New Year is another kettle of fish altogether [Pun intended].
Hands up who has had a good start to their year? Well this good fortune is to continue. This is a Yin year, which means that it will be gentler and quieter but still wonderful. This is the year of completing what was started last year. Its about new doors opening as old ones close and clearing the way for the future. This will be a great year, especially for the self employed. Bless the Prosperous Pig.

Guardian Angel Day

Today is Guardian Angel Day in Spain. So, give thanks to your Angels in your life, both physical and metaphysical. Light a candle, send them a message somehow and think about all the times you have been saved, when things have come close to being horrific. Money appeared seemingly from nowhere, you left late and missed a car accident, you smiled at that certain someone and walked over in the bar and found yourself spending the rest of your life with them, happily. Your listened to that inner voice and did something out of the ordinary, was that you or your Angel guiding you?
I will introduce you to Ennoia, the Gnostic Angel of knowledge, intuition and thought. Ennoia helps us understand the art of magic and guides our communication through the non local and the local betweens gods and humans.
In Spain on Guardian Angels Day, people wear scarves and bells, which represent the beauty and music that Angels bring into our lives. Pretty, pretty, pretty,
I am going to light a candle in my office and burn some divine oils and have a quiet moment to thanks all the Angels in my life, local and non local.

Happy Angel Day!

Spirit of Spring

The Goddess sends her in her bustling and gusty Spring winds in to clear away the dust and cobwebs from every corner of my house, garden and mind. It clears my inertia and I am suddenly filled with hope, promise and industry.
A quick ring around and I found many in the same frame of Spirit. Blessed and Ram-Beau planting trees, The Piscean Princess had a Spring Clean at the Palace, The Grecian Goddess organising her study, filing papers and clearing out the past, The Contessa reorganising her anteroom for better Chi flow. The Playboy of St Kilda is planning adjustments to the Mansion upon the exit of his flatmate and his word on the street that the Mayor of All Good Times is planing a spring clean at his place of business next weekend.
I think that Spring truly arrives when the winds have cleared away the past and the pounding rain has cleansed and freshened up the ground and atmosphere. It is a perfect way to remind us that the there is something better, that dark can become light and every tiny green blade of grass represents a new opportunity and excitement.
Gandalf and I have rearranged the furniture this weekend, moved it all around and I am so happy with the change. I have bought herbs and pansy's to plant up, made raspberry drops for the changelings and a roast for dinner. I have written my list for tomorrow, drawn up some major plans for business and helped a loved one with a love spell and new job spell. A divine spells that involved crushing mint, cashews and vanilla pods and finished with spinning smoke, rose oils, pink candles and a Shakespeare sonnet. The air was alive with possibilities and intention.
I read the other day a psychiatrist saying that his job is not to cure a suicidal patient but to give them a reason to live, a reason to exist. That statement has stayed with me and I think you would be hard pushed not to find a reason to be alive in the Spring, anything new can happen and will.
Look alive my friends, the winds bring in the new, so open your hearts and your arms and get ready!

Shhhh, the Moon is in Libra

Yes, the moon moves into Libra, a time for balance and harmony between yourself and others, a good time for connections and friendships which is lovely. The only thing to be mindful of in this transit it is hard to make your mind up, a typical Libran issue.

I had such crazy and at time distressing dreams last night, my grandmothers, old friends and skinning animals, charming huh?
I think this is because the Moon was void of course last night, VOC dreams are important so I owe it to myself to look it up but I am afraid of what it all means, best to know though, 'what you resist will persist' as the saying goes.

I did a working last night called and Abundance Air Elemental Spell, which basically meant standing in the back garden with a bell in the wind[ and there was lots of wind here last night!] and saying an incantation and ringing the bell at certain times.
The book stated that the spell is best performed when:
It is windy √
It is a new moon √
It is a Friday √
It is the Sping Equinox √
Perfectly perfect in every way.
On the money, felt quite good, very simple and really made me express what it was I was after for my new business venture, which is becoming clearer and clearer since I have returned from FNQ.

So off to play on this fine Saturday, seeing The Devil wears Prada with Scorp Daughter and dinner with the Grecian Princess, have a great day my friends and Happy Spring Equinox to you and yours!

Spring Equinox

I found myself invigorated enough to play in the garden. All I did was sweep, clean up and water sad plants from recent heat wave but that was enough to make me feel positivley Ceres like.
I also made a little outdoor altar with candles, shells and a divine orchid to honour the Springs imminent arrival.
The new bright green leaves are on the fig tree and the blossoms are out next door, it is a beautiful time on the garden and I was happy to spend a few hours out there today.

The changelings went to the park and came back with 3 Sudanese children newly arrived to Australia, whilst language was a tiny barrier at the beginning the universal speech of scooter and giggling from the girls at the boys proved to be binding. I think we should start our own peace movement - Scooters without Borders, an instant success I am sure.

I am on the lookout for an Owl pendant at the moment, I have seen 3 but they are far too fashionable, I want something more antique and special, I will know when I see it I am sure but if you see anything let me know.

Had a lovely visit with Witch Tracy at the Spell shop, she mixed me a high vibration incense for tonights banishing spell, but first a visit to the colourist to banish the greys, magic or not, a girl still gotta look good!

Tat Tvam Asi

I am that.

When I went to Deepak, he recommended repeating a different Sutra everyday.

Monday is Tat Tvam Asi - I am that.

I see the other in myself and myself in the others.

So, for today:

Imagine that your spirit is not only in you but in all other beings and everything that is.

Imagine that everybody is a reflection of yourself.

Imagine that you see what others see.

Imagine that you can feel what others feel.

Imagine that everybody is a reflection of yourself.

And finally- Imagine that you are a person in a hall of mirrors where you can see yourself for miles and every reflection you see is of yourself, but everybody appears different.

Happy Monday to you all: a waxing Moon, Mercury Direct and the blossom is out, filling the air with the promise of possibilities, faeries and magic.

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.

Hocus Pocus for Hire

Have been asked by the Grecian Goddess to excorcise her past lover from her heart and soul with some hocus pocus. I am taking this very seriously as I see how it holds her back in some ways. Short of voodoo, I will be doing everything possible to make this happen for her. Gandalf stated that success would be her going through a whole day without thinking about him at all.

Meanwhile, the Winter Solstice is this week on the 21st. This is essentially the Wiccian New Year. Whilst I do not consider myself Wiccan or anything else for that matter, I am all up for an event that celebrates Intention.

The Winter Solstice celebrates the shortest day of the year, hence the longest night. It is a time of the Goddess of the Cold Darkness and the birth of the Divine Child, the reborn Sun God. It is a time of renewal and rebirth during Winter, and the turning of the Earth force tides. A time when the waxing Sun overcomes the waning Sun.

Spells for balance, beauty, peace , harmony, happiness and love are good to cast at this time. I need a top up on all of these.

Interesting I feel like retiring into my cave at the moment until the Spring. In fact , I may just do that, word up, don't bother me till September peeps!

I am that.

The healing session was great, although some of it was unusual, but the basic jist was that I am on the right track. Apparently I need to be "Mindful of Mindlessness". Might be a good bumper sticker to replace the "Driven by Fear" one that is currently on the car.

Part of the lessons was to look at the bigger picture in all aspects of my life, so since this is all about how to apply these lessons and learnings to my business, I will be certainly keeping this in mind when I review my strategic plans next week. Stop fucking ants and think big baby!

Perhaps I should have been more aware of the clock today when I arrived at my massage 30 minutes late. So, no massage, I will have to reschedule. Got Zen about it and thought there must be a reason, so I went to the T.S Bookshop with small people and bought some books and healing cards for a friend. Then sat in a cafe with so said small people and watched the rain wash the negative energy from the heat down the drain.

Sad to note that the rain also washed away the Chinese New Year Festival in the City, Year of the Wet Dog.
Wet dogs stink, I hope this is not an omen.
